Do I need to be a licensed veterinarian to own a HomewardVet franchise?

Yes. Franchise owners must be licensed veterinarians in good standing in the state(s) they plan to operate.

What services can I offer as part of a HomewardVet franchise?

Core services typically include wellness exams, vaccinations, diagnostics, minor treatments, end-of-life care, and more. You'll have the flexibility to tailor services based on your expertise and market demand.

Can I choose my own service area?

Yes! We will essentially “sell” zip code(s) to veterinarians on a first come first serve basis.

How much autonomy will I have?

While you'll follow Homeward Vet’s established systems and branding, you retain autonomy in how you run your practice day-to-day—setting your schedule, tailoring services, and managing your client relationships.

What kind of technology or software will I need to use?

We provide proprietary practice management tools designed for mobile veterinary services, including:
