​​​​​​​Bringing veterinary care to your living room is simple with HomewardVet.
Here’s what to expect when scheduling your pet’s appointment:

1. Check availability in your neighborhood

Use our zip code search bar to see if one of our mobile veterinarians is available in your area.

2. Discover Your Veterinarian & Book an Appointment

If we service your zip code, you’ll land on your Homeward veterinarians booking site where you can learn more about them and the services they offer.

  • a. If your pet needs one of these services, simply click the “Book an Appointment” button at the top of their page.
  • b. Choose a 4-hour time window that works best for your schedule.
  • c. Our support team will then call you to confirm your details, set expectations and collect the $249 deposit required.
  • This deposit is nonrefundable if your appointment is canceled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the visit.
3. Preparing For Your Appointment

On the day of your visit, you’ll receive a text message notification with your veterinarian’s estimated arrival time.

  • Please ensure your cat is in a carrier or safely in a confined space. If your cat is unable to be caught within a reasonable time frame, we will need to cancel and reschedule the appointment, and your deposit will be nonrefundable.
  • Please have your dog in an easily accessible area where they can be calmly greeted.
  • Once your veterinarian arrives, they’ll set up in a quiet, comfortable spot where your pet feels most at ease, like your living room or their favorite spot on the floor.
4. During the Appointment

Your veterinarian will walk you through the entire appointment, from exam findings to recommended treatments.

  • If your pet needs services that cannot be provided at home (such as dental cleanings or surgery), your veterinarian will recommend trusted local hospitals for follow-up care.
  • After your visit, you’ll receive detailed records, care instructions, and ongoing support.
5. Wrapping Up

At the end of the visit, we'll review:

  • Services Provided
  • Medications prescribed or next steps recommended
  • Answer any final questions

Payment is completed securely in your home before the visit concludes.
